As a trained nurse and nursing instructor in Germany, I also worked in the Netherlands, Austria, Australia, and Thailand. After having received so much hospitality in various countries, I decided to return to Germany and support those who newly arrived in our country. With my background in International Social Work with Refugees and Migrants (M.A.) I started working in the ReStart & Empower Project under the Caritas of Berlin. Here we offer psychosocial support and counseling to refugees who are dealing with mental health problems. Our whole team is trained in TTT and we integrated TTT in our daily work with our clients. It works.
